Common Wonder explores the patterns that connect people, materials and place. We are a creative studio that responds to these relationships through work that is grounded, tactile, and alive. From buildings to objects and art, we listen to nature’s language of matter, craft, and the rituals of making and use, creating work in tune with the rhythms of everyday life.

Our approach is hands-on. Material research is central to our practice. We are committed to exploring responsible and sustainable ways of building, investigating materials for performance, environmental impact, longevity, and sensory qualities. Equally important is collaboration with local makers, artists, builders, and inhabitants to uncover value in overlooked sites, buildings, and traditions.

Our ambition is to enrich the everyday, reveal hidden delight, and create refined spaces and objects that people will care for.
