A new-build guest house overlooking the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Regional Natural Park. The house will be built from local stone, lime stucco and douglas fir timber.

Lower level — private spaces, upper level — public spaces
Thick mineral walls form a spatial anchor upon which a timber roof and framed windows create a warm enclosure.
The entrance hall, set part way between upper and lower levels, forms a tall, narrow space with light at its pinnacle. Simple things become arresting experiences.
In opposition to the family house, the bedrooms are arranged on the ground floor whilst the living spaces, on the upper level, enjoy expansive views over the valley under the lofty space of the roof.
